The residue of your estate is what remains of the estate once all your loved ones and charges have been paid. A residuary gift could be a percentage or the whole of the residue of your estate. Even a small % of your estate can make a huge positive impact to our work
A specific amount of money, also known as a pecuniary gift:
This is when you leave an exact sum of money to us.
A specific gift:
You may wish to leave us a particular item (known as a specific bequest), which can be sold to support our work. It could be property or an item of value such as real estate, art or a piece of jewellery, a life insurance or superannuation policy or even assets such as shares
If you would like to consider including a gift to The Full Stop Foundation in your will you may find the following useful. However, it is important to see your Will adviser.
To donate a percentage of your estate:
"I give to the Full Stop Foundation (ABN 37 731 988 335), free of all duties and taxes % of my residuary estate. The receipt of the treasurer, secretary or public officer for the time being of is an absolute discharge to my executor."
"I give to the Full Stop Foundation (ABN 37 731 988 335), free of all duties and taxes the whole of the residue of my estate. The receipt of the treasurer, secretary or public officer for the time being of is an absolute discharge to my executor."
To donate a specific sum:
"I give to the Full Stop Foundation (ABN 37 731 988 335), free of all duties and taxes the sum of $ _______. The receipt of the treasurer, secretary or public officer for the time being of is an absolute discharge to my executor."
